Bachelor Nutrition science
The Bachelor’s degree program “Nutrition science” started in the winter semester of 2007/2008 at the University of Hohenheim and replaced the corresponding diploma degree program. Students are able to achieve the internationally approved “Bachelor of Science” (B.Sc.) accreditation in six semesters.
Students are taught about nutrition and health through natural scientific and medical knowledge.
With this education, study leavers gain the skills and competences they require to enter into a wide range of occupations . Besides scientific research at a university or a similar institution, such employment includes within nutritional medicine industries, nutritional medicine practices, public healthcare facilities, the press, and educational institutions.
The institute of nutritional medicine offers a number of different modules.
After the Bachelor’s degree, it is possible to get a Master’s (M.Sc.) in nutritional medicine or in molecular nutritional medicine.
